We have an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids every year. We used to fill the eggs with coins for the kids to find, but lately we just have been filling them with gold fish crackers. The kids seem to like it, so why not. We do the plastic eggs, not the hard boiled. It just seems easier as you don't have to worry so much if you can't find the eggs later. The kids were so excited about finding the eggs. It was cold and windy outside so we did not stay long. After finding all the eggs, the kids gathered on the floor and opened the eggs and ate the crackers. They had so much fun! Such wonderful memories!

Dying Easter Eggs
Our family tradition that the kids look forward to each year. This year I found some plastic eggs that you can dye from Walmart and decided to try them. We are not big on eating alot of food dye and don't like wasting the eggs. We ended up doing the wrong directions for dying these eggs and they turned out okay. Nothing like dying real eggs. The kids had alot of fun and had dyed fingers and hands for a few days after. Fay was not too interested in participating. My dad and Joshua usually help the kids dye their eggs. We had so much fun as a family.
